Adlina 5mg Tablet boosts insulin production and decreases the production of glucagon, a substance that prompts the liver to produce more sugar. This combined action effectively regulates blood sugar levels.

• Linagliptin should be taken at the same time every day since this helps you remember to take it.

Adlina 5mg Tablet is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood glucose levels.

Dosage & Administration of Adlina 5mg Tablet

Take Adlina 5mg Tablet once daily. If taken with metformin, maintain the metformin dosage while administering linagliptin concurrently. When combined with sulfonylurea, consider a lower dose of sulphonylurea to reduce the risk of hypoglycemia. No dosage adjustment is needed for patients with renal impairment. Linagliptin can be taken with or without food at any time of the day. TAdlina 5mg Tablet is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age).

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not cut, break, or chew it.
• It can be taken with or without food.
• Take it at a consistent time for the best results.

• In case of an overdose, inform your doctor or seek medical attention.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If the next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one; never take two doses in one day.

Regarding food interactions, excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages while using Adlina 5mg Tablet 10's may increase the risk of a serious condition called Lactic Acidosis. Therefore, it's important to avoid alcohol while taking this medication. Additionally, if you are taking St. John's wort, a natural remedy for depression, it's advisable to inform your doctor.

Lastly, there are potential interactions between Adlina 5mg Tablet 10's and certain medical conditions. These interactions could occur if you have heart problems, high triglyceride levels, pancreatitis, gallstones, alcoholism, or kidney problems.
